In contrast to Arms, Fury is now one of the fastest paced specializations in the game, and near universally hailed as well designed and a joy to play. No longer anemic outside of stacking cooldowns for bursts of damage, the specialization is finally realizing the promised theme of fast, furious, and fluid.
While little of the base rotation has changed, and even most of the talents remain, the adjustments made were all targeted to fix some of the specializations long standing issues, such as its increased damage taken, stacking buffs, the reliance on

to cast abilities, and various statistical issues. These changes have made Fury a lot of fun; it now passively cleaves all of its single target abilities,

instead of competes with it, iconic talents such as

have returned, and an abundance of haste effects promotes a very active playstyle for those who enjoy rapid button smashing.
During the prepatch, Legendaries don’t add any new or varied gameplay, they simply make it better at what it already does. The

are the current legendaries of choice, both increasing rage generation, leading to more high damage

uptime, and more consistent fast gameplay. Leveling in Battle for Azeroth has many legendary options as well, with choices such as

for turning your targets into toast. In fact, the Fury Warrior legendaries are so good, the biggest problem will be learning to cope with them once their gone!
Despite the well-deserved praise, there are still points of contention with the new and improved spec, largely centered on AoE. While Arms and Fury have been rebalanced repeatedly to bring their output closer together, there remains the troubling issue of how much preparation Fury needs in order to deal burst multitarget damage. Whereas Arms simply casts

Pros
Very smooth and engaging gameplay, with or without legendaries
Sustained multitarget cleave feels good
Smooth damage profile, without an overemphasis on the

phase or stacking cooldowns
Cons
Playing is just fast paced not really super exciting after a while, lacking "excitement"

CD could be shorter to make it an individually more important part of the toolkit
Too much lead up required in order to make effective use of burst AoE
Secondary stat starvation at level 120 could slow down the spec immensely
