Thank you, thank you, thank you. This guild saves that most precious game mat... time.
I can't seem to open the Undercity tab...
Love me my Cloak of Subjugated Power. :0)
Undercity toggle should be fixed now. Let me know if you find any more, the toggles are a new addition to the guide and there's so many.
This is really good. I've never really liked capes that much since they aren't cloaky like for example Kaelthas or Arthas cape? etc. but there's quite a couple here worthy of using.
Thanks for the guide - though I will say Blizzard really skimped on cloak artwork this expansion. I hardly see anyone showing MoP cloaks. They were far too multi-colored.
I would like to have the first search option to be simply colour, and design as second. The way it is now it is harder for me to find capes matching to existing sets for example.
Love the list =), but cant help to find it sorta ironic it comes 10 days before the legendary cloak (wich i guess you cant transmog) Comes live, anyways really great guide =)
Also you can trasmog your cape to your guild colors with logo from the caps from guild vendor.
This is a staff-written guide, and not one tied to database search filters. We do have a color filter on our items page which may be more what you are looking for. Once you find a cape you like from the color filter, you can click on the items and view their Same Model As tab to see if there's a duplicate cape that's easier to get.Good call about the guild vendor, I'll add it to the guide soon.My main will be on track to get her legendary cape pretty quickly in 5.4, but my alts won't so I personally will still be referencing this guide :) It's funny, I really like the MoP quest capes and have saved all of them for their unique looks, but don't really care for the raid designs.
Best cloak in the game The Emperor's New Cape
Oh well, seems I don't have to bother making more comments on those cloaks for which-what-color stuff, saves time to do other stuff! And on a side note - could you change screenshots for more emphasis on cloak themselves(like it's done in Legendary questline cloaks)? Becose on some of those screenshots they are hard to see(like T12: Jewel Pattern)Aswell as if there different versions(short, long, double-split) aviable - preferably if you have screenshot for each type.
Sadly, cloaks in-game are really ugly.Blizzard needs to remodel and rethink their cloak designs.I mean seriously, when can i use Arthas cloak?Cause that would be fu***ng epic.
The picture for the Naxxramas skull tab doesn't seem to be correct, as the cloak pictured is missing the skull.
Many of the quest MoP capes are only available to the classes that can select them as a reward.
*sighs* This is a bit of a rant, I want you guys to know I honestly appreciate the trouble you went through to get the colors and pattern for all these cloaks and I will use this guide quite extensively, but the way the results are presented makes this using it much more difficult than it could have been.Firstly, when people look for a cape for transmog it's usually to match an already existing set, not looking for a cloak to base the entire set off of.The organization here unfortunately, makes this task difficult to use than it should be. At the very least we can see what colors the cloaks are, but we have to check EVERY SINGLE HEADING/TAB, for the colors we're looking for.For example say we need a red/blue color cloak... using this guide we still have to check through 63 separate tabs which are based on the patterns/expansions of the cloak. The important part of finding a transmog cloak is COLOR. After the 63 tabs, each tab has about 0-3 drop downs for color that might match the armor set we have... that's 100-200 separate frames to go through just trying to find red cloaks. This would be a lot more helpful if it was organized based on color first. For example, the catergory "Unique Designs: Classic" Should be the BASE color - Let's go with "Red" again. Then the tabs should be the sub colors. /w gold, /w silver, /w blue, etc etcAfter that the drop downs that currently contain colors should be the designs. So if you need a red/blue cloak, you'd go to the Red category, click the /w Blue tab, and be shown all the different pattern types as drop downs with the items listed under them. Truly unique patterns that don't really have a "Base" color could be given there own category as well.People looking for cloaks are thinking "I need *blank* color to match this, so THAT'S where they want to START the search. It's fantastic you guys went through all the effort to sort through all these cloaks by color and design, but COLOR is the way it should be sorted in a guide like this. Color>design. But you've got design>color. COLOR needs to be first, because that's the first thing we need to know when we're matching a cloak to armor. It's great that there are unique patterns for Burning Crusade called Subjugated Power. But for a cloak transmog guide why are we forced to go into that tab to find out if any of it will match a Purple/Teal Armor set?It would create fewer categories, more tabs, and longer lists. But it would also make it so we could find a full list of all the color1/color2 cloaks that might match our armor in a matter of seconds instead of spending a huge amount of time going through all the different tabs, having no idea if the items in it will match until we open it.Another thing that would make this FAR better (if it was possible) would be to have each drop down list contain shots of the cloaks similar to the "same model as" pages of armor. This would make it so we don't have to open every single page of every cloak in the color scheme/pattern we want to find a proper match. As it stands this guide is good for looking through, having general ideas about where things come from, going "Wow, that's a nice looking cloak," and "Ooo, that one looks awesome." But as far as "This cloak will match my trasnmog," it's a really tedious job to use it that way. you may want to consider changing the title from "Transmogrification Guide: All Cape Styles" to "Styles Guide: All Capes" because this is more a guide the variety of capes in WoW, NOT a guide to getting transmog capes for your armor, which is the first thing we all think when we see the current title. While I'll definitely be using this guide to find a cloak for my Judgement Recolor Armor set, a task I had given up on completely. It is going to take me about 20-30 minutes just to figure-out which tabs will have colors I can use, instead of several seconds if this had been sorted by color. Then I'll spend several hours after that while I actually start cycling through the tabs and looking at the lists and pulling up individual pages to check the cloaks. I'll forget which tabs had colors I could use and which didn't, so I'll end up going through most of them again, where as if I only had 1-3 tabs to check through in a "purple" category, this process would be much simpler. Then if I ever change my armor set later, I will have to repeat this all over again to locate a new cloak. If the "Same model as" feature worked (which I understand it probably won't), this guide could turn the entire multi-hour process of digging through it into a 3-5 minute process that could be quickly repeated any time we changed armor sets.Sorry to make this sound so negative, I understand you guys put a lot of work into it.. I just came here thinking "I'll finally be able to finding something for my armor.. FINALLY." Only to find out that, no, this only made it slightly less daunting a task rather than the "guide" I thought it was going to be when I clicked the link."
Mantle of Fury from the Cataclysm questline chain goes incredibly well with the Saurok Stalker T15 set (LFR colour)!
All wow capes look the same :/
