I haven't seen any mention of whether or not followers ilevel will be raised in 6.2 or if the raiding cache mission rewards are changing (being upgraded) or not....Anything new on this?
Thanks for posting this! For me it's helpful (seems some unhappy campers out there, but not me!). I like the Apexis dailies. I really do enjoy slowly grinding towards a goal. It fits better with my offline schedule to log on for an hour or so to grind out a daily. I get enjoyment by eventually reaching a long off goal. I really do. My Apexis memorial in my garrison is testament to that. Haha. I guess some might go nuclear reading this but oh well. I've been flamed by better. Also for a (non) mount collector like me, what a surprise to learn just because I bought the Mists expansion for the battle pet (which turned out to be not good for battle) I stumbled into a now unavailable mount! Who knew! I don't even think it looks that nice, but hey rare is rare I guess. Now I don't feel too bad about spending the money for that collectors edition. About the Dreadwing recolor: who cares? I have that mount too from the WoD expansion Collectors edition (again for the battle pet, this one not too bad) and maybe I'm missing something but the expansion mount and this recolor seem quite different to me. One is quite blue and solid looking the other much darker and more ethereal in appearance. How does it matter that they are just the same bird? I guess it's a mount collector thing. Ok, I've probably ticked off enough gripers now; sorry if you are ticked off but maybe you shouldn't pay $15 a month for a game you hate. Might help with some of those hard feelings.
Anyone know if the gold items stack so the total cost of the 670 is actually 36,000 gold (buying all the lesser ones that scale up)? Just wondering for gearing alts.
so on point
I guess I'll be the only one to say it.Hooray for Skoller being added into the game!I can't wait for 6.2, so ready to finally jump into the Citadel and see how everything turns out for the story.New battle pets, which is fun, but the fel-corrupted pets didn't seem as 'strategy inducing' as the Beasts of Fable.Overall, still enjoying Draenor as a whole.Wee~
Looks grindy again but to be honest i wasn't expecting anything else at least for this expac. The good news is that they have couple of good items now that you can purchase using the "new" currencies. New flying mount...?...?...? Even tough i am against flying, introducing a new flying mount for a continent that you can not use, is just... stupid. I don't know how the experience playing in the Jungle will be, so i ll have to wait until i ll play it. Really keen for the new patch though.
To all the people complaining about people complaining: hypocrisy aside, I think you're missing the point. Most of the people who are/have been complaining (as is their right, lest we forget, what with them being payed-up customers) are doing so from a perspective of seeing a game they love being driven into the ground, bit by bit. Whilst it's absolutely impossible to keep everybody happy all of the time there just seems to be so many things (large and small) that are guaranteed to p*** people off. From a personal perspective, I'm one of those who have no problem with doing dailies for rep, but they got binned because people complained about them in MoP and they've been replaced by endless grinding, which personally, I loathe. But, fair enough, whatever's best for the community as a whole, I'll go along with it. It's not just about me after all. As for flying, I can't understand why on earth they think that we all haven't already experienced Draenor as intended on ground mounts so shouldn't be a problem bringing flying in everywhere in Draenor apart from Tanaan. This, in turn, would've immediately cancelled out a lot of the criticism about introducing an extremely expensive grinding flying mount. But, agreed, it's taking it too far imo to think about cancelling subs just because of that, though it's people's prerogative to do so if they want. For me though (and the bulk of active players in my guild & the guild we co-op Mythic with) it's their handling of raids that's killing the game. Plenty of us only still play WoW to raid (and these raids are really entertaining; the actual gameplay design of them and visuals are superb-no complaints there) but it's been really depressing seeing guild after guild crumble and fall apart through WoD so far purely because of formerly being 10-man guilds now really struggling with getting the personnel to do mandatory 20-man content. Is gradually killing communities. Bringing back 10-man raiding would've saved no end of subs. Going one step further and bringing back reforging would make a lot of us remaining raiders very happy bunnies also. But to now (and here's the relevance to 6.2) mess about with the stat system for raid gear the way they are doing is, well, it's amazing to think no-one pointed out it's a terrible idea. Raid gear's bad enough as it is without reforging but blimey, it's gonna get a whole lot worse. As for comments like "I'd rather play with 1 million happy people than 1.5 million people, 500k of whom are moaning" well, that's great for you, but very bad for business. Blizzard is, lest we all forget, a business. They have a requirement to their shareholders to make a great profit and a requirement to their customers to provide a great product. Keeping the minority happy is all well and good, but constantly disappointing or angering the majority is going to mean more and more cancelled subs and diminishing profits which means Blizzard is failing on WoW. That trend can be reversed, but the majority need to be listened to (not coddled, but at least listened to) and if Blizzard did listen, they could actually not just improve the game, but at least stop making mistakes that obviously will lead to cancelled subs. The complaints are being made by people who love the game, not hate it, and they have not just the right to, but an imperative to, as the game will never get back to it's glorious best if all Blizzard gets to read are comments from the tiny minority who think all of this is great.
Last time I was on PTR, one of the vendors was selling "Blueprints: Oil Rig". I didn't have enough rep to purchase it though, so I'm not sure quite what it does. I'm going to work on my rep and see if I can find out. If anyone beats me to it, please let me know. I've got satellite internet and my connection is spotty. I don't get to play as long as I like.I'm guessing it will be a new way to get oil. I'm not sure if it will attach to a ship or be an independent structure. So far, I'm enjoying the new features and content on PTR. There are some things I'm not thrilled with-- such as the fel water garbage putting the 30 min debuff on and 10 stacks killing you... And some areas are only fun on my druid because I can stealth.
So question related to Empowered Apexis Fragment which is for the both baleful gear, bind on account and the bind on pick up ones (assuming this is correct), Is there any news regarding crafters to upgrade their existing crafted slot item to a higher ilv?EDIT: Seeing how a Crafted item has a 4 stage set up, and Powerful Taladite Amplifier is setting up the last stage, seems unlikely, but if someone on PTS, saw a crafted item receiving a extra stage, could you share some info?
It's hilarious seeing people complaining about grinding as if the entire game for all the years it has existed isn't all about grinding. Once you've finished all the questlines, grinding is all you've got left. Running dungeons and raids over and over for better gear. Farming mobs, herbs, ores to craft stuff (or sell to earn gold). Killing some mob/boss for the rare chance it drops a rare mount. I don't see how anything in Tanaan Jungle is all that much different from stuff like the Argent Tournament dailies, or grinding out Netherwing reputation in Outland to buy those mounts and so on and so forth. That's not to say that everything about 6.2 and Tanaan Jungle won't suck, but I'll reserve judgement until I've actually played it.
Apparently building Oil rig gives you a possible repeatable (daily? weekly?) mission.Oil Rig: Pickup Location
