If they're running out of lore in Azeroth it could be fun to visit other worlds, maybe?
For those of us with Blood Elf Paladins that completed the old quest chain to obtain the Blood Knight Tabard and the Thalassian Charger... won't Uther's spirit be somewhat... unwelcoming?
It is hinted in the new Warcraft Chronicles that the sleeping/resting/whatever you want to call it, titan inside Azeroth is Elune. The art of N'Zoth is nice. Looking all toothy and tentacly as you can expect. I'm still looking forward too and hoping for my Azshara/Naga/N'Zoth expansion after Legion.
Well, what I specifically referred to is not even that a blood knight would wield Ashbringer - but specifically the old Blood Knight loyalty chain that was deprecated with Cataclysm. The Blood Knight that completed that chain steals several silver hand artifacts from Stratholme and Scholomance, and burns them on Uther's Tomb.
N'zoth looks cool, but not as expected.
He kinda looks like the Thing from John Carpenter's The Thing.
I would love an old gods expansions after Legion :>
So it turns out Sargeras defeated all members of the Pantheon. He split Aggramar in two. The rest of the members fought him and he killed them as well, Titans seem to be naturally weak against fel Magic putting them at a disadvantage. However Norgannon shielded their spirits so only their physical bodies were destroyed. Their spirits made their way to Azeroth and became one with the Keepers they left behind. So their spirits still exist and Sargeras just killed their physical forms. Sargeras took on every member and won. Now he was the greatest of them but I think all of them could have taken him on if it wasn't for the fel Magic and powers he had obtained. But regardless this guy is no joke.
I hope we get to see that thing in game I bet the animations are amazing
The Forsaken can heal themselves and use holy spells but it causes them excruciating pain. The Darkspear Trolls are not the Amani that the Blood Elves fought for centuries. Actually both the Darkspear and the Blood Elves share the Amani as the common enemy and have even worked together against them. The Darkspear does not get along with any troll tribe and was forced out of Stranglethorn Vale by them. Also the blood elves were desperate, and on the verge of extinction. The Horde was initially an alliance of convenience first instigated by Sylvanas. So no those are not massive changes to lore. Many things can be explained if people take the time to look them up.
And to add to that since the restoration of the Sunwell the Blood Knights have a more harmonious relationship with the light. What they did to the Naaru, he knew would happen and it was foretold. And he willingly suffered so the the blood elves could be redeemed. Liadrin apologized and regretted the treatment they gave the Naaru and was forgiven. Velen said salvation comes for us all and the light is forgiving. Lol this isn't new, people complain about stuff in lore that already have an explanation. All you have to do is run Sunwell raid and stay for the end event to know this.
