I like the shadowing and how detailed everything is. I'd love some moonkin sitting by the fire at night :v
I love the shading and attention to detail in each piece Runesael has done. If I were to be lucky enough to win, I'd love a portrait of my Worgen Hunter, Pheonixxfoxx. Not sure if her pet, Mudwiggle could be squeezed in there some how? She never goes anywhere without him, LOL! Keep up the amazing artwork...;)
I love the use of light in their work! Especially the color piece above of a night elf bathed in colored light. Beautiful.
Hiya ! I absolutely love Runesael's art ! I am definitely a new fan 😁. I really enjoy His grayscale/b&w ones. To lack color yet express so much, true talent. He pays a lot of attention to detail. And its Amazing. And I've just started out doing digital art, so He's truly inspiring. If I was to win I'd love to have my dwarf Híccup drawn. Anways. Bye-a ! <3
The lightning in the black and white is way cool. Would love to see that for my paladin. :D
What I like the best, from what I've seen provided on the page... They resemble proper portraits instead of the huge head Funko Pop or Anime that is usually seen with WoW character 'portraits'. These are less caricatures, and more artistic. But, that's just my opinion. :)
My favorite thing about Runesael's work is the blend of realism and fantasy. I am no artist, but I know this is a difficult balance to pull off. All the more so for Warcraft, which is sometimes confused about its true aesthetic.I used to help out at a research lab for infant prosopagnosia. The hard work and perseverance have paid off; your work is amazing!
I really like the trolls viewed from the side that include some sort of weather. So if I'd win I'd like my Female Night Elf Hunter drawn while tracking pray while it is raining or snowing in black and white! If you are going to include weapon in some way then it should preferably be the Challenge Mode version of the Marksmanship Bow or the Survival Polearm.
Love the details of his work and the way he makes the characters feel almost real in their expressions and movement. Would love to see his take on the legacy of my veteran paladin.
I really love the lighting effects on these pieces of artwork!
I love the incredible coloring & details in hos work, it's just breathtaking.
I like the expressions, really great emotion there. Like the one with the troll, there's a definite sense of sadness there. I'd love some artwork of my demon hunter Alekto or my mage Leini.
I really like how the shading / way light and shadow is portrayed in these pieces! If I were to win the digital portrait, I would request one of my main (a human warlock).
My favorite thing about Runesael's work is the attention to detail in the facial expressions and how you can get a sense of the given characters emotion in that exact moment.
I love how he is able to make each art part piece look different in terms of facial expressions. People often tend to make WoW Characters generic and have rather blank faces with no emotion or expression at all. But his work is totally the opposite. They are stunning. My favorite one is the bird in the second picture that one is amazing!
These are awesome drawings. My favourite ones are the colour drawings, but the greyscale ones are very nice too. If I win I would like a colour drawing of Loque'nahak. The reason is I have over 60 chars (over 2 accounts), and I can't pick a char. It is much easier to pick a favourite hunter pet. :)(If I can't select a hunter pet, I'd like a drawing of one of my druids in cat form instead).
I love the colours and shading in his work !
My favorite part about Runesael's work is how they capture each character's sense of individuality. My favorite out of the bunch presented were the two trolls, one in the rain and one with glasses in the snow. It made them look like more than trolls/race options. They looked like people with their own problems. If I would win the giveaway, I'd rly like something featuring my favorite WoW character, King Varian Wrynn! I also love Thrall a lot by Varian takes the cake.
I first encountered Rune's work in that reddit thread where he drew commentor's WoW characters; it was amazing to see a piece come to life from beginning to end :) I love how the emotion of the pieces always shines through. In the unlikely case that I win, (but I would so love it..!), I'd want my main, troll mage, drawn. It would be so cool to see another visual representation of him :)
His detail is incredible! I'd ask for a portrait of my main, my ret paladin, Kendyll. <3 She holds a special place in my heart.
