So they take Heroic Leap off the GCD because it's an escape ability, but add Grappling Hook to it? How on earth do they justify that?
So whoever has to Bloodlust the group gets punished now? Most of these I get, but some are just very inane decisions.
Thanks blizz, time to fix all my macros and pretty much never use my racials again
Hunters better all get your pets ready, they'll be the only ones lusting...
I'm never going to cast buffs on my Frost DK again...
As a Warlock, I find those changes very funny. Just realized that my class was always a GCD clown fiesta, it's delicious to see people getting mad at this.
Hi, me again. I'm following up on my post earlier. I'm still confused. In the blue text from the main article, the fifth paragraph, the one that starts with "But on the other hand, taking something off the GCD improves responsiveness..." (go re-read that paragraph, I'll wait). How, looking specifically at that paragraph, is the situation addressed there handled if the GCD is an *after* thing rather than a *before* thing. That was the specific part of the article that made me think the GCD must be a *before* thing, since otherwise that whole paragraph seems wrong. I asked this earlier, and got told above in comments that it is an *after* situation. Ok, but then how do I interpret the comment about interrupting a boss or trying to use "Lay on Hands" and the part of the comment that says that "simply felt bad. We have no plans to put either of those abilities back on the GCD." Those types of abilities are presumably needed IMMEDIATELY, without regard to any GCD timer, hence should be immediately castable even while the GDC timer is running down. Ditto, the comment earlier about how the Combustion ability can't go onto GCD because it is castable while casting. What difference does that make, if the GCD is an *after* thing, not a *before* thing? If GCD starts a timer after the spell, rather than delaying this spell, why couldn't it apply to a spell that is castable while casting? I'm still confused. The only thing that seems to make any sense is if the answer is *BOTH* before and after... as in this: that a spell not on GCD neither starts a Cooldown timer nor has to respect an currently running one. So, adding a spell back onto the GCD is a double whammy, delaying this spell until the timer reaches zero and starting a timer to delay many spells you would want to use immediately after this one. Do I have it correct now?
Shadowstep No GCD Grappling Hook 0.5sGG Blizzard
Wow, so not only do I lose 2 seconds of Berserk now, the damage buff has been nerfed to 40% as well. It's now very clear that fun was detected.
Speaking as a frost dk main on beta.Less end of the world, more inconvenience I have to get used to.
what the hell with death knights? are you serious? you need 4-5 seconds for opener. Death grip added GCD? Nerfed the yards of Mass grip... something else? DKs already dont have much of utility... and you nerf them more?
