Called from the depths to retrieve three relics of ancient power, the Restless Cabal is bound to serve N'Zoth and attend to his will. Zaxasj speaks of promises and power while Fa'thuul crushes their opposition with brute force.
!17In LFR difficulty, Zaxasj and Fa'thuul ignore the Relics of Power they have already activated.
When she struck her bargain with N'Zoth ten thousand years ago, Queen Azshara offered one of her most devoted followers into the Old God's service. Now Uu'nat and the crawling masses he commands herald the coming of their master, as foretold by the stars.
I like how thematic all the pieces are, it certainly feels like the loot hoard of a bunch of aberrations, chock full of things that mortals shouldn't be careless with otherwise they could prove lethal.I like these risk / reward items, even if they turn out to be more gimmick than useful when the time comes. I agree with the other comments that these items at least will be much more memorable than most of the previous two raids from this expansion, perhaps solely due to the fact several pieces of armor here can kill whomever is wearing it.I'm so mad that the Idol of Indiscriminate Consumption is only strength or agility and not intellect. I feel like that effect is something shadow priests and warlocks would find super flavorful. I know it's probably a tank trinket, but if they tuned it so it provides a stat boost per ally or enemy consumed, it'd make a wonderful caster trinket too. Are the items listed here only the ones with special effects? It feels like we're missing a few weapons and Azerite armor of course.
Interesting loot in 2019? Maybe this is the good timeline after all!
Typo in the "Horde horde mount" line. Sure it should say Horde horse mount...or Horse Horde mount.
I'm curious as to whether the polearm's proc maths out sufficiently impressive to outweigh losing the agility for tanking... >->
Looks like there's a couple classes that will be lacking in loot again, as Blizzard forgets that once again Holy Paladins can't use staves and the majority of the plate stuff is for damage dealers.
I think the polearm screenshots are incorrect. It's a trident, so should have three-prongs. If you click on the item, it shows the correct model.
I'm thinking (and hoping) that all of the loot tables aren't in for this particular raid yet. If you look on the PTR, the polearm is only shown as available loot in the dungeon journal for 2h tanking specs, like Blood DK's, Brewmaster Monks, and Guardian Druids. I'm sure that the staff has similar restrictions to healing classes that use 2h staves. Hopefully there will be other weapons with interesting procs and/or uses for other classes and specs that are unable to use the two shown so far. I'd love to see something along the lines of Gurthalak for 2h dps classes, for example.
And this is the upside of Diablo style loot.Rather interesting effects. For the love of god blizz don't trash this style of loot next expansion.
Rip plate tanks,no good effect for us
IMO they are 'OK" still a little crappy looking and once again WE HAVE RECOLORs, Blizzard is too lazy to actually make some nice and UNIQUE models for everyone.
