They could instantly make things at least a bit more interested by allowing teams to do (unlimited) class swaps. It's not just "which classes are OP", it's "who's universally strong in every dungeon" - hence it's safer to play a cookie cutter comp & protect against problematic dungeon picks that'd sink a more niche team.It feels like Blizz's answer to balance issues with (e.g.) mage spellsteal was to lock out niche plays, when really the answer should've been to balance the dungeons properly.
There is no diversity because there is no class balance. That's been a constant in BfA, apparently Blizzard fired everyone who actually knew how to balance classes and design dungeons.
Even if they disable or nerf shroud, what do you do with so much utility? Rogues have so much to give that its kind of insane
I admit I've slowly gone from being a passionate watcher of the MDI to someone who kept the stream on in the background to this time not even turning it on.And part of that's just how massively stale the healing meta is. As someone who mains healers, it's just not that interesting to watch all resto druids all the time.I get top performing players will always aim for the slightest edge, but it feels like resto druid just holds all the cards in terms of healing throughput, damage output, and unique utility. There's just not room for any other healing spec to compete on that level and that makes it really frustrating.
