Gee, I wonder why WoWs active player community might have doubled in the second half of 2019. It is truly a mystery.
Classic carrying WoW while they are saying as if they are doing more NEW content
I really wish they had done a better job of Reforged.
that's more money than I could make in 2 billion years, and what?more content between xpacs? since when? 8.3 will be here till December?
Dont know why they left Warcraft III: Reforged from the reports./s lol
The 100% exp buff has really increased my level of engagement with WoW. Less repetitive tasks due to higher incentives to play other classes with different talent sets, heritage armor, etc, are the reasons...Besides Diablo 4 and WoW, it looks like they're neglecting everything else. That is if you look at everything in context and what they're leaving out of these reports.
Well to play Classic, accounts require an active monthly subscription; not gametime bought from WoWtokens or Gamecards; an actual sub.Classic has easily brought the numbers back up, so i feel like that earnings call should come with an *asterisk.
Looks to me like Classic attracted a lot of people back to WoW, but more so , it gave people 'another wow' to play when they were bored of the other. Thus even more players were subbed during 8.3 than for the release of Classic. It just carried on the momentum. And when people are getting bored of 8.3? We have the leveling boosts and more Classic phases to dish out.Kind of works hand in hand.Would be smart to have BC servers launch a year~ after Shadowlands. >.>
Notably absent, is any mention of...
More people play retail. Deal with it
What is MAUsD tho :( Monthly active users, but D?)
