모구가 판다리아의 안개에서 언급한 령은 어둠땅의 령과는 다릅니다.

영혼이 어둠땅에서 죽으면, 그 영혼은 소멸됩니다. 플레이어는 아직 살아있는 존재이므로, 아제로스와의 연결점 덕에 그런 끔찍한 운명을 맞지 않습니다.

서리한이 우서의 영혼에 어떤 영향을 끼쳤는지는 스토리가 차차 진행되며 더 자세히 아시게 될 것입니다.

아서스와 우서가 갖고 있던 유대감, 그리고 그 둘이 대표하는 우주적 힘은 그 둘의 필멸의 영혼에 큰 영향을 끼쳤습니다.

어둠땅 사이의 영역인 사잇세계 (In-Between)는 다양한 힘들이 서로 섞여있는 곳으로, 거대하나 텅 비어있지만은 않습니다. 그 영역에는 많은 비밀이 숨겨져 있을 수 있으며, 극히 일부만이 이를 통과할 수 있습니다.

승천의 보루, 말드락서스, 몽환숲, 레벤드레스 같은 새로운 사후 세계는 어둠땅의 필요성에 따라 나타날 수도 있으며, 이는 어둠땅의 향후 콘텐츠 업데이트를 통해 다뤄질 것입니다.

어둠땅이 뒤틀린 황천처럼 시간과 공간을 뛰어넘느냐는 질문에는, 시간은 죽음이 아닌 질서의 관념이라며 절대 끝나지 않는 존재에게 시간이란 무의미한 것이라고 밝혔습니다.

비록 산 자는 언데드를 "저주받은 자"라고 표현하지만, 그렇다고 그들이 토르가스트나 나락에 떨어질 운명이라는 것은 아닙니다. 언데드가 된 모든 영혼도 심판관의 심판을 받습니다.

플레이어는 오리보스에 도착하면 볼 수 있는 시네마틱을 통해 심판관이 작동을 멈추고 모든 영혼이 나락으로 가게 되는 죽음의 기계와 그 문제에 대해 더 자세하게 알게 될 것입니다.

우르속이 에메랄드의 악몽에서 사망했을 때에는 아직 죽음의 기계가 정상이었을 때이므로, 우르속은 정상적으로 몽환숲으로 보내졌습니다.

죽음은 넬쥴이 리치 왕이 되기 전부터 아제로스에 영향을 끼쳐 왔습니다. 어쩌면 언젠가는 네루비안과 그들의 유래에 대해 더 자세히 알게 될지도 모르죠.

고통의 투기장에서는 말드락서스에 살고 있지 않은, 악마나 나루 및 정령 같은 존재들을 볼 수 있는데요. 이 중 일부는 강령군주에 의해 붙잡힌 존재들이며, 이 중 일부는 중개자에 의해 투기장으로 끌려온 존재들입니다.

말드락서스는 어둠땅을 지키기 위한 존재이니만큼, 어쩔 때는 악마 세계로 떠난 드라카처럼 사전 행동을 해야할 때가 있는 법입니다.

넬쥴은 군단에 저항했다가 그에 따른 벌을 받았으며, 향후 리치 왕과 간수의 접점과 관계에 대한 암시를 확인하실 수 있을 것입니다.

세나리우스가 블리즈컨에서 언급된 것은 몽환숲으로 갈 만한 영혼의 예시었기 때문이지, 몽환숲에서 세나리우스를 볼 수 있을거란 뜻은 아니었습니다.

데렉 프라우드무어나 토라스 트롤베인처럼 사망한 지 오래 되었다가 언데드로 부활한 존재들은 어둠땅에서 무슨 일이 있었는지에 대한 기억을 잃게 됩니다.

레벤드레스의 잿불 지구에서 악한 영혼들을 고문하는 데 사용되는 빛은 아제로스에서 볼 수 있는 빛과 동일한 존재입니다. 어둠땅이 죽음의 영역이듯, 빛의 영역 또한 존재하기 마련입니다.

일부 영역은 굳이 꼭 죽음의 영역의 일부가 아니더라도 어둠땅의 힘과 닿아있는 경우가 있고, 헬리야의 헬하임 또한 그런 영역 중 하나입니다.

령은 살아잇는 존재가 아닌 필멸의 삶이 끝난 영혼들에게서 거두어집니다.

실바나스가 장막을 부수지 않았더라도 어둠땅에 도달할 방법이 있었을지도 모르나, 무척 힘든 일이었을 것입니다.

That is presented as an example of who would go to ardenweald by natural order of things . He’s not currently there atm .
