Removed Calm down. It's only for the first week. Due to world first it seems.
No gear no fun .. I'm sorry your statement and others alike doesn't mean anything ^_^
I'd take 5 man keystones any day and find it more fulfilling. Wrangling 20 ^&*!@anzees is not "fun" or "hard" (when was the last time at work waiting for your coworkers to become competent at the basics fun? Because it's the same situation). It's waiting for 20 ^&*!@anzees in mythic raids to work out what to do and do it while they slowly start to outgear the content. I'm not dumb enough to fall for the illusion that mythic raiding is inherently hard or difficult when it follows the problem every employer has of some employees simply sucking at their job. I don't play WoW to engage in a separate management supply line to my normal job and I'm not touching mythic raiding with a barge poll for that reason. When Blizzard pays me to teach 20 apes to play their game, maybe I'll care.Pretending that 20 man is hard for any other reason then there being 20 people who need to git gud comes from people who've never had a management role in their lives. It's not hard. It's tedious watching people screw up again and again and again and having to restrain yourself from strangling them. Blizzard itself being a large company should understand why the majority of the playerbase doesn't find the concept of 20 man mythic raiding enjoyable. We want to play the game, not wait for 20 people to learn how to play the game to get that piece of content done. It's boring and a waste of time for the majority of people when the "difficulty" isn't in the game itself, but in statistics.A 10 man mythic raid? That I'd be willing to give a go, but once you start climbing above 10, statistics strikes and I'm not dealing with that noise.
I am so sick of seeing people talking about the best gear should come from Mythic raiding. Clearing +20s with 5 competent people is every bit as hard. If you have one person screw up in a mythic raid, chances are it's not the end of the world. You have that same one person screw up in a mythic +20, chances are your key is depleted. Why shouldn't the people clearing the higher level keys be rewarded with the same loot as the people clearing the mythic raid? Why should mythic + loot stop scaling better past +15? If we're going to be rewarded with better loot for taking part in harder end-game content, then the mythic + loot needs to scale beyond +15s. I don't belittle or berate the people who choose to mythic raid. If that's what they enjoy, I say more power to them. But some people don't enjoy raiding. Some people don't have the time to dedicate to raiding. Some people enjoy mythic + as their end-game activity and they should be rewarded for their time and effort as well.
1 for completing it, and 1 for doing it in time. so 2 all up.
imagine doing the mythic raid and getting heroic gear that would suck wouldn't it. well that's what it feels like when you push high end m+ you are doing 20-25 but you are still getting gear as if you where doing a 15. this is the issue i have i don't feel like they should give you higher ilvl for a 15 they should just keep scaling it up so if you can do a 20 you can get mythic ilvl gear that's the fundamental issue with this and for those of you saying m+ is easy of course it is when you only do a 15 weekly. but i am willing to bet 90% of you haven't ever stepped foot in a 20 during bfa and i am willing to bet even if it was made the highest ilvl reward for mythic+ 90% of you still wouldn't be able to push up to a 20 cause it takes a higher understanding of the dungeon as mechanics start to one shot you and you have to be able to do all the mechanics while keeping your dps up sounds familiar doesn't it just like mythic raiding the harder the content the higher the loot. that's how i feel mythic+ should be. for those of you saying you don't need high coordination in a high end m+ your just wrong.
Most likely halls are gonna be the fastest to get a M2 key on.
That's what they said on Mamytwink.Blizzard puts limits on the mythic+ progression on this week so tout can do more than a +10 but you won't have better stuff. I still think the reward next week will be scaled.
https://www.wowhead.com/guides/shadowlands-season-1-mythic-dungeon-guide-affix-changes#end-of-dungeon-lootAUTHOR: SQUISHEI " Compared to Battle for Azeroth, the base amount of loot that will drop from a Mythic+ dungeon has been decreased to 1 (down from 2). However, the bonuses that increase the amount of loot dropped seem to continue to apply. +1 Loot for timing the key. Stacking 20% increased chance for a piece of loot for every Key Level above 15. "
A mythic+ 15 is definitely easier to time than killing the last boss of mythic raid. However, completing 30s in time in many times harder than completing the last boss of a mythic raid. Moreover, the rest of the bosses of mythic raid are easier than timing most keys around 20s and above. Mythic raiding is not the hardest content in the game. M+ 30s and achieving over 3000 rating in arenas is. The only time when mythic raiding is even remotely close to being almost as hard is on the first 2 weeks of a patch. From then on, is much easier than M+ 30s and 3000s rating in arenas. Nonetheless Mythic raiding gets the best gear in the game. Not because of difficulty, but because Blizzard favors that type of content the most. Just look at the state of content for pvp and mythic+.
