Yeah... Torghast! Most unrewarding and repetetive 'time investment' of the whole game! :DGot as BM an anima power, that granted me a chance to stun an enemy when dealing holy damage... ok... BM and holy damage? Did i miss anything?
As a Venthyr Rogue (Outlaw)I got the Door of Shadow buff and.. Thats itI have to play it like MGS to even advance and sometimes, i have to use 3 of my death before managing to kill the ending boss even with 30 anima powers
Oh yes nerf paladin anima powers even more soo paladin retribution will be much more less solo player in that f....ing tower... thats just great....

Honestly torghast needs a nerf to each level, not a buff, and some anima powers need to be made better. Nothing ruins a run like failing on level 2 because of the 4 powers you got, 1 was somewhat useful (CoH to heal 5% health, which for a high chance trait is VERY unreliable) and the other 3 were CD reductions on divine steed and run faster near a wall. I know venari has some stuff for torghast, and thats fine, but all the benefits she gives you means crap all if you cant a)make it to level 3 to buy stuff, and b) get gimped on powers. I dont mind the nerf to tank and healers in torghast, because they were the easier option, but man for content designed to challenge you, unreliability with powers is not a fun way to fail a run for something that is the only way to get soul dust, nor is it appealing to run something that is as unrewarding as torghast is. People complained about visions all they wanted to, at least it gave you a piece of gear at the end of the run and was rewarding.
All hunters rejoice, those Torghast Anima Buffs are very welcome... +100% Kill Shot Damage? Yes Please.if you add it to the one that brings any new target to 50% on first hit and you manage to get them to 20% and below fast it will be a killfest.Reading from all it seems we'll need to find less Powers to maximize input in there.

This team seems to continually equate fun with hard. It's as though they've learned nothing from years of evidence showing that if things are too difficult for the average person they will just give up in frustration.
Torghast is the worst thing Blizz has developed. Boring as &*!@. Great for the first 2-3 times then hard pass. This xpac is going to be a hard fast burn. Great for the first 2 months then peeps are going to realize that it's crap.
Good grief Blizz, why make Torghast even more difficult for healers and priests in general? We have no mobility and few defensives. And just making it harder in general in week 3. Why? The whole thing looks gray and identical throughout, with the same mobs and creatures everywhere. Many people are already bored. How is this supposed to last months/years? I mean, you couldn't put a critter other than a mawrat in there, at least?
Looking into my crystal ball... One week from now....We have increased the health and damage of enemies on layers 7 and 8.What needs a buff is droprates in Heroics, talk about unrewarding. 3 a day for 2 weeks, exactly 3 drops, one a dupe, and stuck at ilvl162 forever. No other sources of gear at this level. Won't even be LFR eligible.Idk about this expansion, and I've played continuously since BC launch.
5 floors of fighting x level 4,5,6 and then another 6 on the wing for each character that you don't want to fall behind on legendariesI have noticed very little difference between the different wings, same grey mostly the same mobs but with a subtly different lay out
Buffing Torghast mob health and damage and nerfing a bunch of powers (few buffs too but for my class, 7 out of 8 were nerfs)... Really? Come on. I'm already getting drained by Torghast chores, it simply takes too long. The gameplay is really fun when you have a bunch of powers but it's just too tedious to get to that point and I already felt like some random elites were way too high hp, big ole sponges that don't do much interesting but just take forever to go down. Now they're buffing that aspect of the mobs?Especially doing it on multiple alts it starts to wear on you. After I've done 2-3 floors I feel like I've had my fill and want to fight the boss. I already felt it should be like half the floors, with twice the rate of powers to compensate so you're equally strong at the last boss. That would be perfect. 20 minutes max per run, not 45+ minutes max... Which also just makes the rare times some people might fail on the last boss just soul crushing, 45 minutes wasted for nothing and you have to redo it.So I was really hoping they'd make it more fast paced and action packed, instead they're making it longer, especially for solo healers. Ugh. There's twisting corridors coming up for people who want the most challenge and to spend more time in Torghast, let that be brutally hard and time consuming, why make the mandatory (if you want leggos) weekly Torghast chores harder and more time consuming? Who was asking for this?
If they're going to buff Torghast and nerf helpful powers, they need to give me a reason to run it other than soul ash. It's not fun gameplay to spend a lot of time in there and then not be able to kill the boss, and you get absolutely nothing from it. Even just getting a few measly soul ash if you do kill the boss does not feel good for the amount of time spent. And I agree with those of you saying it needs some visual variety.
