Keep in mind that for some classes it's harder. Not undoable ofc. Or bring a friend for some easier time.
Fun? No. There's nothing fun about AV at all, anymore. No skill required. Just pop two towers and then murder the boss. It's just a race, and that's not fun, nor is it what it was designed for. I'll totally side with anyone who says the hour plus long games aren't fun, but neither are the 7 minute ones. The way it is now, you couldn't finish any quests in AV if you tried your hardest. All the mechanics are broken. There is no strategy anymore. And /rude to all of you who turned this thread into a Torghast complaint fest.
i have got better gear (185 Prot pally) and it take me 2 hours to clear layer 8 and i still get my ass handed by bosses/trash.i don't expect 10 minutes runs but i don't expect 2 hour runs ether.
Well i guess i should have farmed this when i could last week for honor gains now its back to being an annoying long bg that i dont even want to see come up. The fast sub 10 min games were ideal to get in and get out i still have nightmares about the 8 hour long ones i was in from the past
I like both quick and long AVs. Quick AVs for helping people get the achievement, long ones for the massive fights at the bridge, especially when both sides have decent healers and there are knockback fights.
People are actually crying about fast av,instead of 45 mins, instead of the countless herb farming druids bots, that you can literally meet everywhere?Seems people have priorities.
Just get rid of the NPCs (bosses) or make them better protected similar to Ashran maybe. Give objectives better meaning than making it easier kill on NPCs. Similar thing goes for the Isle of Conquest as well. These need a revamp from their current state that makes you just rush towards doing one thing only. Or keep it as it is, but let us queue for the epic battleground we want with same rewards as random queue; or bring back the specific battleground elimination system to random queues. Many players like doing battlegrounds for fun and these two provide no fun; and somehow random queues place us mostly into these two...
I wish they would pay attention to raid bosses next. I just want to farm legion raids. I'm not being able to farm ir even with chars that used to be able. sigh :(
Now they need to fix the Wintergrasp cannons and vehicles. With over 45 matches of WG played I've only won 2 games as attack. The demolishers have 144k hp and hit for 5k-12k on players, the catapults flamebreath does 2.5k~ per tick leading to easy 3v1s. The cannons do 5k+ to players and reach sunken temple, causing anyone who goes there on attack to wrecked from them and ultimately snowballing into a loss. Once the southern towers fall everyone returns to keep and builds max (usually 12/12 or 16/16) and just fires on the broken wall causing a bottleneck that's unwinnable. Its worth taking the 15 min deserter as attack because its almost a guarantied loss and the BG lasts on average 30 mins.
Also, this xpack so far is the worst pvp experience I've ever had hands down. Covenant ability's, legendarys , and soulbinds have no place in ranked pvp. You cant balance ability's without causing backlash. Every priest that pvps is forced to take Venthyr because of how ridiculously strong Mindgames is. But how can you justify nerfing coven abilitys and making players change covens just to fit into the meta? This, ontop of extremely poor class scaling so bad that people who got 2.4k the first week all got 233 ilvl weps and are capable of one shotting people before they can move a finger to defensive/trinket. This feels worse than twink bracket pvp with full BiS. It all comes down to who has the best comp and coven abilitys and who can open first. Obvious winners are sub rogues/fire mages, prot pallys/uh DK, and MM hunters/druids. Either having immunitys or stealth is the only chance you have imo.
