My gold-making milestone - 300k. I haven't really been into making money professionally, I once tried to spend some money on plans and creating expensive items but there were too many other JC/enchanters doing the same and the prices dropped really fast so I didn't make much money. I don't need to have the most expensive mounts, I just would like to earn enough money (350k per month) to afford wow tokens.I'd like to start making money actively in BfA.
Not done that much digging in Legion tbh, but gonna do much more soon enough before legion ends. Only did like 5-6 quests I believe so I do have a few left, atleast did the one for mount haha. What Im looking forward is something simular in bfa as with legion but with better rewards in general!
I don't dedicate to gold-making, and don't plan to in BFA either. Most of the gold I make is through lucky drops or the Darkmoon Faire items, and while I respect people who enjoy and make piles of gold, for me it's just not fun and I have enough for what I need. I just don't enjoy the economics aspect enough to justify it, so I definitely admire anyone who can make things happen.
Ever since the introduction to WoW tokens gold doesn't feel very useful anymore. Other than getting food, potions, and flasks there's not much use for it anymore. So I don't really dedicate any time to making gold anymore unless there's something I know I want to buy with it. I usually spend my time either gearing up for farming old content for transmogs instead.
I maxed Archeology on my main, I haven't been able to get it leveled on my two alts. I am focusing on leveling them first then going crazy with the professions.
There Are very few times i actually decide to just go out to make money. I have found that I don't need a whole ton of money to play through the content and get what I need. In the future I may find more time for money making but never prioritize it.
I don't usually put in alot of time to goldmaking. This past week I decided to get "Field Medic" achievement and shockingly enough, I was surprised how much gold I was making. Around 1k-2k a hour. So in memory of First Aid, you can make some gold while getting the Field Medic title/Achievement.
I fell off the archeology wagon after I got the moose. I may need to get another Wyrmy to sell - cheers.
Started a month ago in gold farming, and last week, I reached 1m gold, my milestone was the Bloodfang Cocoon, but now, in BfA, it's definitely the new mount Reins of the Mighty Caravan Brutosaur. I spend at least 3 hours everyday in the AH now, and if I could I'd spend more. Gotta balance things with my guild's mythic raid.
I'm not much of a goblin myself, but I love it when I get gold-making opportunities from things I do on the regular anyway. Archaeology is one of my favorite professions, so I'll definitely be doing this week's quest anyway!
I haven't done any Archaeology in Legion yet. How many hours does it take to the This Side Up achievement?
There seem to be a lot of people involved, so I'll try it.I think the inflation problem in the game is getting worse. The entire economic system in the game appears to be top-heavy. A small number of players hold large amounts of gold and goods.Blizzard has to strictly control the amount of new gold COINS produced and need more ways to recycle them.thank you.:)
Every two weeks a new quest is available for the This side up achievement so if you are planing on doing just 8 of the quests it will take you rougly 16 weeks to complete it.
In response to a discussion point: I dedicate about an hour a day to gold-making. I spend this time crafting a whole heap of food to sell after a reset, and the rest of the time running old raids/dungeons for pets and transmog. Ideally, I'd love to spend more time making gold but I'm usually too busy running Mythic raids or pushing M+ keys.
I was working on getting the tint for 'This Side Up' when I came across Wyrmy Tunkins; An adorable quest, and surprisingly quick to finish!I made a pretty fast 30k from selling him, and one step closer to getting my tint! Still working on completing all the Archaeology quests!I'm looking forward most to the Restored Revenant in BFA: I can't resist adorable wickerbeasts!
Meh, why would I even waste time making gold? As a raider I have plenty just by order hall missions and world quests to cover all costs. So I'm spending almost no time by goldmaking and pretty happy about that.
it has been a habit for me from garrison time, multiple chars and daily transmute rutins, now order hall added. it is actually easy gold each day. i hate archeology but i m interested in achievements so pet was a bonus for me not farming it with my alts. plus it is around 20k in my server.
My main is maxed out in everything and got Wyrmy to keep for myself. Nice to know he is a go-to for pet battling.
Ive got almost all reputations exalted, except the ones that were removed with cata like zandalar and shendralar. Wish they would stop removing content like that, it got removed right around the time i decided to try and get them to exalted. Hopefully with bfa we would be able to raise the old zandalar rep as well.
